JUDr. Eva Dobrovolná, Ph.D., LL.M.
Guarantor of the module Fundamentals of Law and Final Thesis
She is an assistant professor at the Department of Civil Procedural Law, Faculty of Law, MU. She studied law, among others, at the University of Regensburg. She has completed several research stays in German-speaking countries, regularly participates in conferences, and publishes in the field of civil procedure and substantive law. She is a guest member of the International Society of Teachers of Civil Procedure (Zivilprozessrechtslehrervereinigung), a member of the editorial board of the journal Private Law and a founding member of the Czech Society for Civil Procedural Law. In the past, she has participated, among others, in the creation of the substantive plan of the Civil Procedure Code.
doc. JUDr. Josef Kotásek, Ph.D.
Guarantor of the module Private Law for Senior Management
He is the head of the Department of Commercial Law at the MU Faculty of Law. Within the framework of university activities he is a member of the Scientific Council of the MU Faculty of Law, the Field Committee for Commercial Law, the Editorial Board of the Journal for Legal Science and Practice, the Editorial Board of the Masaryk University Journal of Law and Technology, the Editorial Board of the university journal "muni.cz".
He is a member of the CNB Disputes Committee, an arbitrator for domestic and international disputes at the Arbitration Court of the Czech Chamber of Commerce and the Czech Chamber of Agriculture and other companies.
His teaching activity consists in teaching Commercial Law, Securities Law, Bills of Exchange and Cheque Law, Capital Market Law. He also teaches at other universities and is engaged in lecturing and assessing activities in the field of commercial law and securities law.
prof. JUDr. Filip Křepelka, Ph.D.
Guarantor of the module Public Elements for Managers
Since 1998 he has been a lecturer in European Union law at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University in Brno. Here and at other faculties and universities he has also taught and teaches Introduction to International Law and issues of health and transport law. The topics of his publications have included, among others, the liberalisation of trade in services, control of state aid, consular protection, the language regime of law and issues of the relationship between language and law, the integration of health and education, the regulation of medicine and health care, and regulations and directives as sources of EU law. In 1999-2003 he was assistant to the vice-president of the Constitutional Court, and in 2004-2008 he was an expert advisor on European law at the Supreme Administrative Court. At Masaryk University, he has served or is serving as a member and chairman of academic senates or a member of the ethics committee for research and since 2015 as head of the Department of International and European Law. He is a member of the editorial board of the journal Právník.
Ass.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Gerhard Saria
Guarantor of the module Foundations, Means and Background of Successful Leadership in Central Europe
Dr. Gerhard Saria is a professor at the Department of Business Law at the University of Vienna and currently a visiting professor at the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University in Brno. Previously, he was head of the Law Department at the Vocational College (Fachhochschule) in Wiener Neustadt for two years. At the same time, he is Deputy Chairman of the newly established Public Procurement Commission of the Austrian Ministry of Defence and a member of the Scientific Commission of the same Ministry.
In addition to his lecturing and teaching activities in the UK, Germany, Italy, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, he has published extensively in the fields of commercial law, company law, capital market law, insurance law and consumer protection law. He is the editor of the only Austrian commentary on the Austrian Securities Supervision Act (Wertpapieraufsichtsgesetz) and co-editor of the commentary on the Austrian Insurance Supervision Act (Versicherungsaufsichtsgesetz) published by Manz.
